I changed my thinking, it changed my life.
How one reacts to challenges can either make you or break you especially when one hops on the pity-party train.
With anything in life it takes practice and repetition to learn a new skill. It is no different when one chooses to elevate their mindset.
It is imperative to change your self-talk. There is nothing worse than self sabotaging.
What language are you using when you self-talk? Is is inspiring, encouraging and motivating?
Who are the individuals you surround yourself with? Does their mindset match yours?
Are you taking time to invest in personal development? This is one way to accept change —whether if it’s reading a book, meditation or join a yoga studio. You will soon embrace change.
Write down 3 positive changes per day. It will take getting used to as we move quickly throughout the day. After a while it will become habit and noticing positive interactions will become simple to spot.
Learn from those that have achieved what you’re seeking even if your goals are slightly different.
Set realistic goals and strive to achieve them in the timeline you mapped out.
You either can write your goals daily or plan your goals for the week on Sunday. It doesn’t matter which method you choose just GET IT DONE!
Increase your mental toughness and become resilient. We all know no matter how prepared one can be things don’t always pan out how we expect them. We all can bounce back when faced with adversity and disappointments instead of throwing in the towel.
Lastly, GRADITTUDE…continuously show appreciation for the good things and things to come in your life. Journaling daily in just a few minutes can lift your spirits.
Remember what you exude and put in the airways is what you’ll receive in return.
Ask yourself, “Am I receptive change?”
