Uncertainty and stress are inevitable during this season —you are not alone

I’m one of those individuals with a compromised immune system however I am healthy with challenges here and there due to being human. 😂

We are not invincible and must shift our mindset of, “it will never happen to me syndrome!”

We can prepare to the best of our ability and sometimes overly cautious. I’d rather be over prepared than having to leap into crisis mode. I boosted my immune system since my spouse is considered essential personnel and drives to the office daily where some have been identified as having COVID-19😷.

We may be experiencing discomfort 😣due to the events taking place such as social distancing, cancellation of plans, closing of school etc, however we mustn’t panic😱. Use this time to decompress and release stress by:

⚡️catching up on reading

⚡️gardening

⚡️conducting a thorough spring cleaning

⚡️increasing activities with the children

⚡️jumping back on your workout journey

⚡️creating new vision boards if you haven’t done so already or update it

⚡️ journaling

⚡️learning a new skill set/program

⚡️practicing gratitude daily

⚡️checking on family/friends

⚡️catching up on movies/documentaries

⚡️creating/learn new recipes

⚡️remembering to smile through all of it -the good and the challenging.

I do not live in a world of all about me however looking for increased kindness and compassion for others who are feeling overwhelmed, stressed, and have a general sense of uncertainty today, tomorrow and weeks to come. Let’s help one another by following all guidelines set in place and who knows you may foster a liking towards something new you’ll learn in this season.

Until then be encouraged, WASH 🧼 YOUR HANDS and this too shall pass.

Be blessed everyone!
